# Using Your XSwipe Card

XSwipe cards are available in over 195 countries and can be used in all merchants that accept Visa card payments.

**Pre-Transaction Checklist:**

* Ensure your card is activated before attempting any transactions.
* Make sure there is more than $10 on your card to avoid transaction failures.

#### Special Transactions:

1. **Online and High-Value Transactions and Withdrawals:** To enable unlimited spending for online or high-value transactions, log in to card.xswipe.io, go to "My Profile," select "VIP ByPass Request," choose your card, and specify the duration (7 days, 1 month, or 3 months).

Important Note:

* VIP Bypass expires based on the requested duration; a new request is required upon expiration.&#x20;
* For Online Features Only requests and Statement of Account documents, please contact support.
* Once activated, the VIP bypass may not override spending limits set by the merchant's bank.

2. **Pre-Authorization Transactions:** Pre-Authorization is a method where funds are temporarily held by the merchant to ensure the payment will go through. This is commonly used by hotels (for deposits), gas stations, and other merchants. Be aware that such transactions may be declined by Visa.

**Fees:**

* All card usage will incur a standard Visa fee.
* Non-USD fiat transactions may have additional exchange fees based on local bank/ATM FX rates and fees.

* The time for transactions to appear on your dashboard varies. Some may be placed on hold by the merchant or platform. Once verified by the merchant, transactions are promptly updated, which may take up to 7 business days.
